Running Tough Ridges – 8 hours, 10 ridges, 1 point per ridge.
How much can you score?
When:
- November 15th, 2025.
- Start at Evansdale Glen 8am.
- Finish at ARC (FAARC) Brewery at 4pm (drive from Evansdale Glen).
You are welcome to start later and join us for a beer at 4pm at the ARC. Whenever you start, aim to Finish At ARC (FAARC) by 4pm.
No entry fee.
Come FAARC with us – it will be fun!
FAARCing Rules
Entire length of ridge must be completed but can be done in separate chunks. Can be completed in either direction. 1 Point per ridge. No extra points if ridge already completed.
FAARC as a team or FAARC solo if you wish – we won’t judge.
We encourage safe FAARCing – please come prepared.
Make sure you have all the fuel and protection required for 8 hours of solid FAARCing. See recommended FAARCing gear list below.

Recommended FAARCing Gear
- Waterproof and warm clothing – layer up for better protection
- Head covering
- Warm gloves (latex is not adequate)
- Emergency bag/blanket
- PLB or some sort of Satellite capable device
- Food
- Water carrying capacity
- Lubricant for chafing and blister protection
